Wild broods (45 females and 53 males 1328±45, 632±17.6 g, respectively) caught from Chanimeh reservoirs (Sistan, Iran) were transported to Zahak Hatcheries Complex (Sistan Fishery Department). The brood fishes were randomly distributed among five treatment groups:1- females treated with quadruplet injections( 0.2, 0.5, 0.5 and 0.3 ml ovaprim/kg B. W.) every 24 hrs. Simultaneously to second injections males were injected with 0.3 ml Ovaprim/kg B. W. 2- Females were injected with combination of ovaprim(0.2, 0.5 and 0.5 ml/kg B. W.) and hCG 1000,2000,2000 IU/kg B.W) and simultaneously to the 2nd injection of females, males were injected with 0.3 ml/kg B. W. ovaprim and 1500 I.U. hCG/kg B. W. C). 3- In the third treatment females were injected with ovaprim plus hCG (0.2, 0.5, 0.5 and 0.3 ml/kg B. W. + 200, 400, 400 and 300 I. U. /kg B.W. respectively every 24 hours) and males received 0.3 ml/kg B.W. ovaprim + 200 I.U. hCG /kg B.W., at the second dose of females via injection. 4- In the fourth treatment females were injected triplet injections of different doses of hCG (400, 800 and 800 I.U. hCG/kg B.W.) every 24 hours and also males (500 I.U./kg B.W.) synchronized to second injections to females.5- Finally,in the fifth treatment 0.3 ml/kg B.W. saline was injected to all males and females belonging to control group. The results showed mean working fecundity for 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 groups was 39531±7802, 18625±9704, 15682±5982, 0 and 0, respectively. Latency period was 36.2±3.77, 12.33±0.66 and 30.2±2.95, conversion percentage of dry egg to eyed egg was 88.97±0.9, 73.19±2.04 and 75.26±3.90, conversion percentage of eyed egg to larvae was 81.93±1.15, 75.67±0.19 and 71.03±1.03 for a, b and c groups, respectively. There were significant differences in the fecundity, latency period and other parameters mentioned above between the group treated with only ovaprim and the control group (P<0.05). Based on the results it could be concluded that treatment of Snow trout with ovaprim is effective for spawning induction.

Presence of each pollution and changing in the marine ecosystem have sever impacts on Biotic factors and economic ecological potential in this valuable area. Thus, ecological health monitoring to evaluation of habitat health are important. In this study, AMBI(Azti Marine Biology Index) was used to evaluation health of Bahrakan coastal area as a main fisheries and petroleum extraction ground. The results showed studied area classified in good ecological status. The dominance species was from Ophiuridae family with ecological group II. based on richness and diversity index value, studied area are classified in bad ecological status. This results discordantly can caused due to differences in influences variable. Low rate of water exchange, high degree of temperature and salinity maybe were lead to decreasing in macrobenthic richness and diversity index values but AMBI result that get from ratio between sensitive and resistant species, shows good ecological status.

After maturity, 3 female parthenogenetic Artemia wereselected randomly from each of the five levels of salinity and cultured in 4 replicates for 12 weeks. The growing Artemia were categorized into four population groups (1) nauplii and meta-nauplii, (2) juvenile Artemia (3) pre-adult Artemia, and (4) adult Artemia and were counted once a week. Results showed that the density of adults, nauplii and meta-nauplii were higher in 100 ppt. The maximum population of pre-adult and juvenile Artemia were found at 50 ppt. The density of adult Artemia increased while density of other categories decreased during culture period. Based on our findings, an inverse relationship between salinity and population of parthenogenetic Artemia were observed. Results indicated that lower salinities are more suitable for population growth of parthenogenetic Artemia.

Caviar-producing fish with their economically valuable product are important in fisheries. The cDNA growth hormone (GH) of Sturgeon fish Huso huso was constructed using total RNA from pituitary glands. To construct the recombinant and active lentiviruses carring GH gene, this DNA sequence was inserted into the cloning vector pTZ57R/T and subsequently cutted from pTZ57R/T by endonuclease enzyme and incorporated into lentivirus vector pNL-EGFP/CMV-WPRE on upstream of an IRES cassette. We also insert a reporter EGFP gene downstream of IRES so transfection and transduction steps can be traced. Using this vector plus virus packaging and envelope vectors, HEK-293T cells was co-transfected by DNA-Lipofectamine complex method. Cell supernatant full of virions was collected 48 hours later and concentrated using Amicon columns to obtain a high-titer virus stock. Nearly 1/5 of this stock was applied to a new batch of cultured HEK-293T. After 72h expression of EGFP gene was Detected and the cells was collected for further analysis. Total RNA of these transduced cells was Extracted and GH mRNA expression was revealed by RT-PCR. Results showed that, lentiviral vectors (LV) as a gene transfer system provide efficient delivery, integration and long-term expression by establishing a stable provirus in target cells and could be An important tool in aquaculture and fisheries biotechnology research to increase the growth rate of farmed fish by transferring growth hormone (GH) transgenes into fish.

The Brown banded Bamboo shark is a benthic shark and unlike most of shark, to attract the oxygen in the water no need to move constantly. In this investigation, 36 individual of Brown banded Bamboo sharks (Chiloscyllium punctatum) were caught from Dervish's Creek in the northern Persian Gulf. Certain sections of the gill tissue removed and immediately fixed in Bouin’s solution. Then embedded the samples in paraffin and sectioned into 5 micrometer microscopic and stained with hematoxylin and eosin. In order to evaluate the comprehensive, sagittal and cross-section of gill tissue were studied. Microscopic results of cross-section indicated that the gill tissue structures including, filaments and lamella sections revealed. In addition, a variety of cells such as columnar cells and chloride cells (MR) were also detected. According to the results obtained for the cross section, The cell aggregates, named follicularlyarranged NKA-rich cells (follicular NRCs), were found in the gills septum. Therefore, the Brown banded Bamboo shark has three types of NKA-rich cells in the gill: (1) NKA-rich MR cells on the filament and lamella, (2) NKA-rich solitary cells (solitary NRCs) and (3) follicular NRCs on the gill septum.

Using 5 microsatellite loci Sillago sp. From Hormozgan North Persian Gulf were investigated through 68 specimens in two stations: Minab(31 specimens) and Bandar Lengeh(38 specimens). DNA was extracted using modified CTAB(Hexadecyl trimethyl-ammonium bromide) protocol. 5-17 alleles were observed in 5 loci with 8.4 mean allelic frequency. Observed and expected heterozygosity values was calculated (0.115<Ho<0.792) ,(0.598<He<0.902) . Genetic distance and identity according to Nei was estimated 0.520 and 0.595 respectively which shows genetic distance of genus level. Significant deviation from Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium (p<0.001) was observed at all loci at two stations. Analysis of Molecular Variance(AMOVA) of Genetic differentiation index(Fst) revealed mean significant (p=0.001) differentiation between two studied regions and 3.90 gen flow. Despite low distance of two studied regions (180km) there are probably two distinct populations of Sillago sp. which should be considered in management efforts.

This experiment was carried out with three treatments and a control group for a period of four weeks. The treatments were included 0, 1×106, 2×106, 3×106 colony forming unit (CFU) gram probiotic in each gram of basic diet. Fish with an average weight of 50.26 ±0.89 grams were randomly distributed in tanks and in each tank stocked 20 pieces of fish. Feeding was done twice a day. The obtained results indicated that the use of different levels of probiotic in diet of Asian sea bass had no significant effects on serum biochemical parameters and liver enzymes. The different levels of probiotic did not affect protein, ash and moisture values between the treatments and the control group (P> 0.05). Moreover, fat value in the fish T2 and T3 was significantly higher (P< 0.05) than the fish control and T1. Also, nitrogen free extract (NFE) value varied significantly (P < 0/05) between the control and the fish T3. Overall, this study indicated that this probiotic had no significant effect on some blood biochemical parameters and liver enzyme, but at the high level can positively influence on body composition of Asian sea bass.

Anzali port as a major and oldest port in north of Iran plays a significant role in cargo transit. A clear identifying of the key situation of this port in North- south Coridor as well as implementing appropriate transit strategy will help the performance of this port through attracting more cargo. In this research first the weakness and strengthens (Internal Factors) as well as treats and opportunities (External factors) of Anzali port are identified and evaluated through SWOT analysis. Analyzing the internal factor evaluation matrix shows that “entering ship to the port without delay” and ” the high rate of cargo handling” are major strengths in functional area of this port while “the lack of coordination among port and other organisation” as well as “ lack of Storage” are the most dominant weaknesses. Results for evaluating external factors indicate “increasing transit income” as the best opportunities and “sever competition in attracting cargo transit” as an important threat. Finally, QSPM technique is applied to evaluate the alternative strategies in this port. Comparing eight key selected strategies indicates that “attracting merchant”, “keeping the fixed customers” and “overhauling port facilities” have the most priority respectively. To provide the total weighted scores in SWOT and the relative attractiveness of QSPM, two separate Likert scale questioner forms are distributed among 16 experts of Anzali port.

In this study, results of experiments about the trajectory and the advance velocity of inclined and convergent rectangular surface jet into stagnant ambient have been presented. In order to discharge process simulation was used a flume with 3.2 m length, 0.6 m width and 0.9 m height and a rectangular channel with 6 cm width. Discharge channel was designed in the four angle of convergence 12.5, 25, 45 and 90 degree. This channel injected the jet stream to form of tangent to the surface of ambient and in three different slopes 0, 4 and 8 percent. Receiving fluid had been prepared from urban water. As well as the jet fluid had been prepared from the salt liquidation in water and in three concentrations 5, 15 and 45 gr/l. After running the experiments and using of images routing process were analyzed the data. In this regard, hydraulic and geometric parameters on the trajectory and the advance velocity of jet was investigated. According to the results, increase the slope and decrease the angle of convergence causes increase in length of trajectory and decrease in the advance velocity of jet. Reduce the densimetric froude number causes decrease in length of trajectory. Also, in order to investigate of influence of convergence on the movement path of flow, by comparison of trajectory in convergent channel and simple channel, More relative advance was seen in convergent channel. Finally, using of the data analysis, relation between advance velocity of jet and dependent parameters was determined with RMSE=0.034.

The interest in bi-stable structures comes from their ability that these structures can have two different stable equilibrium configurations to define a discrete set of stable shapes. The geometrical changes occur with no need to continuously consume power, and mechanical hinges to preserve the structure in each stable shape. It is known that asymmetric composite laminates can have bi-stable response to different kind of loadings. In this research, the non-linear temperature-curvature relationship for the asymmetric composite laminates is studied using Rayleigh–Ritz technique. Attention is focused on studying the effect of material temperature dependency and resin layers; especially in the bifurcation point by use of analytical method. To this end, the well-known analytical theories are extended and used to consider the temperature dependency of material. The results obtained from the theory are then compared with the finite element simulations results and a good correlation is obtained. Finally, an experimental investigation is carried out and several specimens with [90/0]T, [70/–20]T and [70/20]T compositions were manufactured. In order to study the effect of resin layers, optical microscopy is utilized and the exact thickness of different layers in the manufactured specimens is determined. The thermal responses of the manufactured plates were measured and used to validate the results obtained from the analytical theory and finite element simulations

In this study, two populations of Aphanius ginaonis (Holly, 1929) and Aphanius dispar (Ruppell, 1828) were examined to determine genetic diversity using PCR-RFLP technique. A total of 60 individual specimens were collected from Hormozgan and Bushehr internal waters, comprising two sampling sites; from Geno hot spring (30 individuals of A. ginaonis) and Mir Ahmad hot spring (30 individuals of A. dispar). The D-loop region of mitochondrial DNA (550 bp) was amplified using PCR followed by RFLP analysis based on 5 restriction endonucleas enzymes (AluI, DpnI, Eco47I, HindIII HinfI). In order to undertake data analysis, Arlequin 3.11 was applied. Results at population levels indicated that Geno individuals have more haplotype diversity than Mir Ahmad individuals (9 and 3 haplotypes respectively). However, further investigation using genetic techniques is required to clarify the molecular history and evolution of Aphanius species in this area. Results obtained from this research would be applicable to understand conservation genetics and management of this important fish species in Iran.

Tissue sample of arm tips (tentacle) were preserved in 96% ethanol alcohol until using in biotechnology laboratory of Khorramshahr University of Marine Science and Technology. Genomic DNA was extracted with CTAB method. The quality and quantity of extracted DNA was assessed by 1% agarose gel electrophoresis and spectrophotometry, respectively. Polymerase chain reaction conducted with 6 pairs of microsatellite primers. PCR products were electrophoresised on 8% polyacrylamide gel and stained with silver nitrate. These primers were shown 4 pairs of polymorph and 2 pairs of monomorp. Allele Sizes were measured in populations then genetic parameter were calculated using Arlequin and Gen Alex Programs and phylogenetic relationship was determinated and drawn using TFPGA Program. Result obtained showed genetic distance and resemblance distance is 0.282 and 0.754, respectively and genetic differentiation was present 0.031. The findings of present study showed low levels of genetic differentiation but significant between of populations and S. pharaonis were likely two different population. These findings provide useful information for conservation and management of this species in the Persian Gulf.

The international Shadegan wetland is one the biggest ponds in Iran and located in Khouzestan province. This wetland is with more than 530 thousand hectares vast wetland registered in the international Ramsar Convention.Climate changes can make negative or passitive conditions by drought or wet periods on water quality and volume of this wetland.Today, concerns about the warming of the earth and damage to vital natural resources, have led researchers to study different periods of drought. Drought is a phenomenon adverse impact on all ecosystems, including wetlands. Because of it, new drought indices should be associated with specific time scales for monitoring and management of water resources. In the study area, data required by the Metrological Agency, water and power authority and by ocean-atmospheric data from NOAA satellites from 1950 to 2015 (65 years old) received. Changes in wetland on the downside and upside of drought and wet were studied by standardized precipitation evapotranspiration index (SPEI). The final model showed decaying and destroying the wetland each year goes by drought from year of 1998.

One application of spur dikes is ensure navigability of rivers Through regulation and stabilization of sufficient width and depth, balance changes for the development of depth and The radius of curvature.Nowadays, spurs are also employed for promoting environmental conditions along a riverbank. One of the important topics abut spurs is their protection against scouring that has been less studied. One of the simple and economic ways for protection of spur against scouring is using riprap. Riprap is very common because it is easily available, cheap and simple for construction.Since using, spur dikes to protect riverbanks spatially in bends is very common, This research was carried out in order to investigate the effect of the structure stability. The purpose of this study is evaluation of depth-placed riprap for protection of spur dike in 90° Bend. In order to achieve the research objectives, one riprap size of inch diameter was used. Ripraps are placed in 3 depths ( ), and used for 3 lengths of spur(15%,20% and 25% width of flume), two angles (90 and 120 degree) and three longitude distance (3,5 and 7 times of spur length). Parameters as variables in this study were selected which The results can be used in large rivers, including navigable rivers and the Gulf. The results showed that stability of ripraps are increased with increasing the depth-placed riprap and angle of spurs, whereas increasing in spur length and longitude distance decreases stability of ripraps.

Mangrove forests are important in Iran. The results of this research could be an important basis for the understanding of the situation facing the mangrove forest and improve the management and conservation of mangrove forests. In this study, Promethee II, a multiple criteria decision making method, was used to identify and rank the causes of deforestation. Ranking of natural causes of mangrove forest deforestation showed, Pests weight as the most important factor is 0/17 and after that the storm and acid rain weights are next in rank, 0.20 and 0.095 respectively. The results showed that the weight of the human causes of deforestation is more than five times of the weight of the natural causes of deforestation. In the case of human causes of deforestation weight of the oil pollution as the most important factor is 0.226. And after that the industrial and municipal waste, the development of ports and docks, no environmental assessment of projects, poor performance in the field of promotion, lopping for fodder, aquaculture and fuel weights are next in rank,0.19, 0.182, 0.136, 0.128, 0.082, 0.043 and 0.041 respectively. The results showed that the main deforestation causes of mangrove forests in Iran are oil and industrial pollution and urban waste. Since mangrove forests are located in the massive oil and gas reserves and projects, the extraction, conversion and transport of resources and urban development without considering environmental assessments have an adverse effect on the mangrove ecosystems.
