The analysis of this market and the assessment of dry bulk freight rate ,market behavior, policy making in this field, transportation policies and fleet development, and also research in dry bulk shipping industry is inevitable. The main aim of this study is to analyze and forecast the future of dry bulk freight market  in 2011 and 2012. Since the shipping industry is known to be a volatile industry; therefore, understanding the characteristics of this market and forecasting its volatilities have been of prime interest in operational and financial decision makings. To achieve this aim, linear regression, multiple regression and time series analyses (winer’s exponential smoothing) methods is used. Results of the study show that the Baltic Dry Index in 2011 and 2012 may decrease in relation to 2010, but this drop in 2011 will be drastic and in 2012  modest.      بازار کالای فله خشک چه از نظر حجم و چه از نظر وزن، بزرگترین بخش بازار کشتیرانی جهان است؛ و بررسی رفتار بازار و کرایه حمل فله، تصمیمات و سیاستگزاری ها در این مقوله، سیاست  های حمل  و نقل و توسعه ناوگان و نیز بررسی عملکرد صنعت کشتیرانی فله خشک امری اجتناب ناپذیر است. هدف اصلی این مقاله، بررسی و پیش  بینی آینده کرایه حمل کالای فله خشک سال  های 2011 و 2012 است؛ چرا که کشتیرانی به عنوان  یک صنعت بسیار تغییرپذیر شناخته شده و درک و پیش  بینی این نوسانات برای هر یک از اعضای این صنعت جهت تصمیم  گیری های عملیاتی و مالی اهمیت دارد. برای رسیدن به این هدف، از روش های رگرسیون خطی، رگرسیون چندگانه و نیز روش نمو هموار هلت ـ وینترز استفاده شده است. نتایج تحقیق نشان داده است که ممکن است شاخص بالتیک در سال 2011 و 2012 به شدت، نسبت به سال 2010 کاهش یابند؛ البته روند افت کرایه حمل در سال 2011 بسیار شدیدتر از سال 2012 خواهد بود. https://jmst.kmsu.ac.ir/article_1916_65fc52ed8f88c81323a418ca94cec2ed.pdf
